Producers from around the New England North West Region will turn Moree into a food & wine lover’s delight when they gather in the most productive agricultural shire in Australia, MOREE NSW. Come along and enjoy the tasty delights of the region during a relaxed, social day out the whole family can enjoy.


Celebrity Chef

A native to the Sunshine Coast, Matt Golinski is a professional chef with a passion for creating cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. 

Well known as one of the original team members of the popular ‘Ready Steady Cook’ television series, Matt has worked as executive chef at some of Queensland’s leading restaurants over his 32-year career. 

Based on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Matt now enjoys working as a consulting chef to restaurants, being a regular guest chef at festivals and events and writing food articles for InNoosa and Hello Sunshine magazines. 

Matt lives with his wife and two young daughters on their property in the Noosa hinterland, where his focus has turned to learning about growing the food he loves to cook.



Our regional producers remain at the heart of Moree on a Plate, and we're proud to showcase over 50 wonderful fresh food and beverage producers, niche boutique industries, chefs and artisans from across regional New South Wales and Queensland. Festival goers can be assured they'll go home satisfied!


Children's Entertainment

Bubble Muffin™ Kids Cooking Club is a sensory explosion of colour, movement, smell, touch, and taste and we're excited to welcome Bubble Muffin back to Moree on a Plate for our 20th year. A unique blend of education and entertainment that teaches children, and their families, how to discover, explore, create, and experience healthy food choices.

Bubble Muffin™ brings to life the healthy food experience by igniting children’s imagination and encouraging them to get involved through interactive workshops! Children are able to experience and learn about healthy food whilst having fun.


Live Entertainment

There is no end to Moree’s pool of talent, with our local musicians and vocalists also showcased throughout the day. 


The Mixed Grill

Local teams will battle it out with the tongs to decide once and for all who really is Moree’s BBQ King or Queen. The competition is looking fierce this year with teams already committed and busy preparing their menus for the day.


Kids Korner

Always a highlight for the little ones, this year's Kids Korner will once again include craft stations, face painting, a jumping castle, interactive demonstrations and a photo booth. Just a small taste of the smorgasbord of fun planned to keep the little ones busy and happy.
